Returning an item:
Items that have been installed or have been used cannot be returned.
All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). To obtain your RMA number, please call 800-759-9060 or email us. We do not accept unauthorized returns.

Did we ship you the wrong item? (Our mistake.) Call for a RMA #. Write the RMA # on the package being returned. We'll ship the correct item free of charge and to return the incorrect item, we will either include a prepaid UPS return label with this new shipment or set up a Call Tag and have the incorrect item picked up - all at no charge to you. The returned item must be unused and in new condition.
Did you order the wrong item? (Your mistake.) Call for a RMA #. Write the RMA # on the package being returned, ship it back to us (prepaid) and we will credit your card for the cost of the merchandise as soon as we receive it. The original shipping is not refundable. If you want the correct item sent to you, simply place a new order. The returned item must be unused and in new condition.
Is the item defective and under warranty? Call for an RMA #. Write the RMA # on the package being returned. If the item failed prematurely, we will want it back so we can see what went wrong. For the return, we will either send you a prepaid UPS return label or set up a Call Tag. We will immediately ship you a replacement free of charge. Alternately, if you prefer a refund, we will credit your card for the entire order amount, including shipping, upon our receipt of the return.
International Orders. Call us before attempting to return anything. We do not accept unauthorized returns. We'll do our best to work something out, but being international, things can get a bit tricky.
Order refusals. Once shipped, if you refuse the order upon delivery, we will refund you for the product, if and when the order is returned to us. Shipping will not be refunded, plus we will charge you for the return shipping as well. If an int'l order is refused, there are no refunds whatsoever. It's not a good idea to refuse an order. It's best to call us. Maybe we can work something out.
Limited 3 Year Guarantee. Subject to the exclusions contained below, Holiday Direct, LLC, at its option, will at no charge repair, replace (with same or equivalent product), or refund the purchase price if our products fail to light due to defects in material or workmanship within three (3) years from the date of purchase.
We are committed to selling high quality products. Returning the product to us helps us to monitor and improve product quality.
Exclusions - Products are intended for residential, seasonal use only (90 days maximum per year), and are pre-tested prior to shipment. This limited guarantee extends only to the first consumer purchaser, and is not transferable. This guarantee does not include: 1) commercial use, 2) normal wear and tear, 3) products not used in accordance with directions provided on or with the product, 4) burnout or sunfade of incandescent bulbs, 5) products that have been subjected to unauthorized repair, and/or modification, 6) damage caused by shipping, improper handling, improper mounting, alterations, misuse, or accidents, and/or 7) permanent installations exceeding 90 days.
The bulb-hour life span rating refers to the average bulb life span under normal conditions. Environmental factors, such as wind, sun, humidity & severe weather may shorten the life span.
When colored incandescent bulbs are exposed to direct sunlight, some fading is expected.
National Electrical Codes classify "Christmas lighting" and "decorative lighting", as "temporary lighting". National electrical codes allow "temporary lighting" products to be installed for up to 90 days. Temporary lighting products are not intended for, or designed for permanent or extended installations. Products that are installed permanently, or are installed continuously for 90 days or more violate national electrical codes.
