Types of information that we collect:

Personal information you choose to provide: If you choose to purchase products from us, you may be required to provide personal information and authorization to obtain information from various credit services. For example, when placing an order, you may need to provide us with the following information:

• Name

• Billing address

• Shipping address

• Credit card number & expiration date

• Home or business phone numbers

This information is used for internal order processing purposes only. Absolutely no information is released, sold or shared with anyone outside of Holiday Direct, LLC.

Email Information: If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. Eventually these emails will be purged. We do not share, sell or exchange email addresses or correspondence with anyone else. All correspondence is held in the strictest confidentiality and is used for internal purposes only. We do not use your email address for marketing nor will we send you unsolicited emails (spam). All email correspondence will be in regards to an order that is in process. Examples include our sending you "Order Confirmation" or "Invoice" email notices.

Web Site Use Information: Similar to other commercial web sites, our web site utilizes a standard technology called "cookies" (see explanation below, "What Are Cookies?") and web server logs to collect information about how our web site is used. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, and/or time spent at our web site. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information can be associated with you as an individual, nor can we tell specifically "who" has visited our website.

What are "Cookies"?

Cookies make your online experience easier and more personalized. If you have ever made an online purchase and see "Welcome Back Jerry" on your next visit, that is a cookie at work. Cookies are a common feature of web browser software that allows our web servers to interact with visitors. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by your web browser on your computer. This is not spy-ware or other malicious script or program. Cookies simply help with subsequent interactions with a web site. For example, if you made a previous online purchase from our site, the next time you visit our site or make a purchase, the cookie will help our servers recognize who you are. Information you previously entered by hand on your first visit, may be automatically entered for you on subsequent visits. This information, as with all information, is used for our own, internal purposes only.

Do we share or sell your information?

No. Absolutely all information, either submitted to us knowingly, obtained through web server logs or by email is used for internal purposes only. Absolutely no information is released, sold or shared with anyone outside of Holiday Direct, LLC.

Will we send you "spam" email?

No. The only email you will receive from us will be in connection with active orders currently in process. Typically, you will receive three email notices per order. Immediately after you place an order, a notice is sent to you to verify that your order was placed. When we personally review your order, we send you an Order Confirmation. Immediately after your order ships, we send you and email "Invoice". If there is a problem with your order, we will also notify you by email.

Will we send you junk mail or have telemarketers call?

We do not mail out Catalogs or any other unsolicited mail. We do not use telemarketing. No salesperson will ever call unless it involves an order that is in process.

Are online transactions really secure?

Yes, they really are, but only if the transaction is made through a "secure" web site, like ours. Secure web sites use special encrypting software that encrypt your information before it is sent to our servers. During the data transfer from your computer to our server, the software renders your information totally unreadable. A special type of internet connection commonly known as SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is made. This special connection is commonly implemented when "Checking Out" of the store. Most web browsers detect this special connection by displaying a "Padlock" on your browser. This ensures that a secure connection is present and that all information sent over this connection, is indeed encrypted and secure.

Please note that regular email is not secure. We advise you not send personal or confidential information to anyone via email, unless you send it via secured email.

How you can check the security status of our site

On the far left of this page, below the Shop by Category list, you will see a "GoDaddy Security Seal". If you click on it, another browser window will open up displaying the security status of our web site.

Depending upon the web browser you are using, a padlock will be displayed on your browser informing you that a secure connection has been made and that encryption is activated.

This secure connection is only activated during the Checkout process. If you are simply browsing our store, a secure connection is not necessary.

Employee access, training and expectations: Our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions only.

How you can access and correct your information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect and maintain in our database by emailing us at support@holiday-direct.us. If you want your information changed, updated, corrected or deleted, we will gladly do that for you.

What about other Web Sites linked to (or from) our Web Site? We are not responsible for the practices employed by web sites linked to or from our web site nor the information or content contained therein. Often links to other web sites are provided solely as pointers to information on topics that may be useful to the users of our web site.
